When was Zagreb’s Cathedral built and what is preserved from the period prior to the earthquake and the reconstruction?
Zagreb’s Cathedral was built in steps from the 13th to 17th centuries but was in the reconstruction at the end of the 19th century profoundly altered. Of the old church’s' inventory the renaissance choral benches from the beginning of the 16th century, the marble pulpit from the end of the 17th century and three baroque altars from the 18th century have been preserved.
