Who is J.J. Strossmayer?

Bishop of Đakovo, Josip Juraj Strossmayer, was the patron of the Yugoslav Academy of Science and Arts (1868) and founder of the Croatian University (1874). He was a great devotee and collector of the works of old European masters.
