The largest arch of reinforced concrete in the world is part of which bridge in Croatia?
The ”Krk Bridge” («Krčki most») with two wide arches connects the island of Krk with the mainland. The larger arch has a span of 390 m and is the largest arch of reinforced concrete in the world. It was built in the year 1980 according to the plans of engineer Ilija Stojadinović. The bridge has great significance for the economy and tourism because it connects Rijeka with the international aerodrome on Krk.
